The SAG-AFTRA Hawaii Local is hosting an in-office viewing of Women's Resource Day: Finding Work in Interactive and Voiceover brought to you by the SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Local Women’s Committee.
 
The Los Angeles Local Women’s Committee will be presenting a two-part, informative day of panel discussions on how to break into and find lucrative work in the interactive/gaming industry as well as voiceover industries of audiobooks, commercials and animation. Industry overviews and auditions tips will be given by professional actors, casting directors, directors, agents and other industry experts. With a focus on issues important to women, the day of panels is open to all genders and ethnicities. The event is free for SAG-AFTRA members and complimentary lunch will be included.

Advocacy and Empowerment On Set: Learn How to Diplomatically Handle Issues on SetPlease join us for a conversation on issues that may occur on set and how to handle them.
 
A panel of experts will lead a discussion on shooting scenes that require intimacy and nudity, SAG-AFTRA’s Sexual Harassment pillars, empowerment and dealing with “intimidation” on set, from signing contracts you haven’t read to being asked to falsify timesheets or to do a stunt!

Bringing Awareness and Coping Strategies to Mental Health

In honor of Mental Health Month, the Los Angeles Health Care Safety Net Committee proudly presents a day of mental wellness featuring a series of informative panels and a resource room where you can learn what mental health resources are available to you as a performer.

Start the day off celebrating the benefits of tai chi, yoga and meditation and later hear from your fellow members, therapists and mental health professionals about strategies for coping with stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns.
