The Professional Representatives Department is the successor to the former SAG-AFTRA Agency Department, which has expanded to assist members not only in their agency relationships but also in their dealings with any affiliated personal managers.

This panel discusses the Child Performer Protection Act, which requires many professionals who work with child actors – publicists, hair/makeup artists, acting coaches, etc. – to pass a background check and obtain a special permit issued by the state of California. The panel will review how affected professionals can comply with the law.
