You are cordially invited to attend the SAG-AFTRA Contracts Happy Hour and Workshop hosted by the Seattle Local Conservatory. As the media landscape continues to evolve and grow in new directions, our union contracts are changing to meet this new reality. This workshop is a great opportunity to join other industry professionals and brush up on the terms and conditions of the various SAG-AFTRA agreements including the Student Film Agreement, Short Film Agreement, Ultra Low Budget Agreement and Special New Media Agreement, as well as new regional contracts for commercials and corporate/educational.
This FREE event is open to all SAG-AFTRA members, other performers, and interested industry stakeholders. Topics of discussion will include: minimum rates and usage fees, general terms and conditions, how you can help sign up projects, and much more. How do you respond when approached by a producer who is not familiar with union contracts? Is there really such a thing as a "waiver"? How do our agreements work in the new Digital Media landscape? It’s all covered!
