The following message is sent on behalf of the Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA):
The Oregon Production Investment Fund (OPIF) will be holding an auction of unclaimed tax credits for the coming year! Credits may be used against your annual Oregon State income tax liability for up to three years, so this is a way to both support YOUR state film industry AND get save up to 5% on your taxes.
The auction will begin on Monday, Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28. To submit a bid, visit the auction website and complete form OR-TCA for each bid you submit. A .PDF formatted version of the form can be found here. Payments may be made by certified check, money order or cashiers check, payable to Oregon Department of Revenue for the full amount of the bid. Deliver the check and a completed copy of the OR-TCA form to the Oregon Department of Revenue by 5 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018. The mailing address is:
Oregon Department of Revenue
Attn: Tax Credit Auction
P.O. Box 14600

You will receive a tax credit certificate within two to four weeks after the auction closes; if your bid was not accepted your payment will be returned.
