This seminar is presented as part of the NY Health Care Safety Net Committee’s Health Fair.
Stop playing the blame game and get off the dieting merry-go-round once and for all. Understand why dieting does not work long term and for most leads to additional weight gain. Learn about the harm that dieting can do, both physiologically and psychologically. Leave with a tool box of approaches to move away from dieting, including understanding your own biological need for carbohydrates, fat and protein. Begin to make peace with food as you understand why your body and brain need them all to function properly and at its optimal level.
