To have a successful and sustainable career, actors need to reduce the reliance on luck as much as possible. We need to be skilled in the CRAFT, learn how to make money with our art in the BUSINESS, fight for the value of our talent in the MARKETPLACE through our union, and take care of our SELF so we can be reliable and consistent with the quality of our work. In this fun, informal, and interactive lecture you will learn how to optimize every variable in your control to make your success inevitable, not a gamble.

Shaan Sharma will share how and why a small percentage of working actors in our business work consistently, covering such topics as

• The huge differences between theatrical and commercial work
• The right training and development strategy
• The right mindset and attitude that attracts work
• Getting and working with agents and managers
• Conquering nervousness and boosting confidence
