10 a.m. ET Line Up | 11 a.m. ET Parade Begins

T-shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

The following information is provided by the WNY Area Labor Federation and Buffalo Central Labor Council:

All parade participants are asked to park their cars at or near Cazenovia park. Buses will shuttle participants from Cazenovia Park, starting at the Peter J. Crotty Casino to Dorrance Ave from 10 - 11 a.m. This will eliminate congestion at the beginning of the parade and participants won't have to walk back to get their cars.Please follow all parking signage on parade route, buses will be available from 1 - 2 p.m. to return to your vehicles. Buses will also be in the parade. Any participants wishing to ride may do so on a first-come basis.

The cookout is at the Peter J. Crotty Casino Shelter in Cazenovia Park. Food will be served starting at Noon. Please dispose of garbage properly. Garbage totes are for trash, and recycling bins are for recycling. 

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid thru Oct. 31 2024). Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.

Come out on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 2) and show solidarity with your fellow SAG-AFTRA members at the Cincinnati AFL-CIO Labor Day celebration at Great American Ball Park!

Gates open at noon and the schedule of the day's events is as follows:

• 12:00-12:30 - Gates open and welcome
• 12:30-2:10 - Private Labor and Friends gathering with special guest
• 2:10-4:10 - Fan Zone open to public

Tickets are $12.00 apiece and can be purchased here.

When buying tickets, you can choose to sit wherever you’d like in the reserved area, but in an effort to allow SAG-AFTRA members to sit together, we would recommend purchasing seats in the 521 section of the stadium.

Come on out for a parade and picnic with your fellow SAG-AFTRA members as the Ohio-Pittsburgh Local marches in the 2024 Pittsburgh Labor Day Parade. It’s an annual tradition! Celebrating its 40th year, the Pittsburgh Labor Day Parade is one of the very largest in the country.

We will march the same parade route as we have in years past. The route will take us from Centre Avenue to Grant Street and down the Boulevard of the Allies. The review stand and parade finish are in front of the Steelworkers Building. 

Information on where we will line up this year to begin the parade, and where we will be within the parade, will be posted soon. We will provide coffee and pastries at the line-up location. Members will also receive a free SAG-AFTRA t-shirt, while supplies last. If you already have one, please wear it! A group photo with our banner will be taken before the parade begins.

After the parade, we'll gather with our colleagues in the arts from Actors Equity and AGMA for a picnic at the Overlook Pavilion in Schenley Park. The picnic starts at 1 pm, and members are encouraged to bring a side dish or a dessert.

You are cordially invited to attend SAG-AFTRA’s tenth annual Cleveland Family Picnic on August 4 at 1 p.m.

It will be held at the same location as last year’s event: Metroparks West Creek Keystone Pavilion. It’s located at West Creek Metropark, 2277 West Ridgewood Drive, Parma, Ohio 44134.

As you pull in, it will be the first pavilion on the right. It is a great facility with lots of parking, bathrooms with running water, lights, and electricity. 

We will be well-protected under the Pavilion's beautful canopy, so the picnic will happen rain or shine. Food and beverages will be provided. We’ll also have games and prizes, so come and have some fun! Feel free to bring your spouse, your child(ren), a significant other or a friend. All are welcome!

Presented by the SAG-AFTRA, the United Steelworkers of America, and the Pittsburgh Newspaper Guild/CWA, it’s one of the funniest nights of the year. Prominent Pittsburghers and media personalities join forces with theater professionals to confront the outrageous news and newsmakers making Pittsburgh’s headlines in 2023. Join us as Pittsburgh’s civic satirists look into their cracked mirror for the 23rd time to uncover which local movers and shakers will be the main targets of this year's Off the Record. They have a devilishly good time judging who’s in and who’s out at the black-and-gold gates of Pittsburgh heaven.

With KDKA’s Ken Rice as emcee, the event will feature Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald as prebuttalist, celebrity guests, a cast of professional actors, some rank hams…and a few real people.

Join us for an evening of laughter that benefits the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. A portion of the show’s proceeds will also go to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, which provides emergency financial assistance to striking SAG-AFTRA workers
