Where: MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Pl.. Boston, MA (easily accessible by the Green, Orange and Red Lines via Downtown Crossing and Park Street Stations)

The SAG-AFTRA New England annual membership meeting will be held on Monday, April 7, at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Conference Center in Boston’s Downtown Crossing. 

The meeting will open with an exciting member lead panel, Boosting Your Career with Social Media Savvy, where you’ll hear from local members on how they use social media to elevate their work. Moderated by Nichole Davis of WBZ-AM and the co-chair of the New England Local Broadcast Steering committee, the panel will include broadcasters Matt Shearer of WBZ-AM and Tiffany Chan of WBZ-TV and actor Michael Tow.

The meeting will also include updates from New England Local elected leaders and staff and will end with an open Q&A. To submit your questions in advance, please email newengland@sagaftra.org

When: Monday, April 7, 2025; 6 p.m. cocktail hour with light appetizers and cash bar, 7 to 9 p.m. member meeting

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid thru Apr. 30, 2025). No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.

Synopsis13 Hours Ahead is a multi-screen visual installation exploring the emotional and physical distance between an immigrant woman in the U.S. and her aging mother in Japan. Through immersive visuals and layered soundscapes, the piece offers a poignant, sensory-driven reflection on modern immigration and cross-national caregiving.
