The SAG-AFTRA Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston-Austin, Miami, Nashville and New Orleans Locals will be conducting wages and working conditions (W&W) meetings together in preparation for the negotiation of the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract and the SAG-AFTRA Audio Commercials Contract.
Monday, Nov. 18, 5:30 - 7 p.m. CT / 6:30 - 8 p.m. ET
Proposals for this negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard and participate in this very important process. This meeting will be held by Zoom and is open to all paid-up SAG-AFTRA members* of the aforementioned locals.
You will need to sign a confidentiality agreement to be able to attend any or all W&W meetings either in person or by Zoom. You will receive an auto reply from commercials2025@sagaftra.org with a link to electronically sign the required confidentiality agreement (which only needs to be signed once for W&W attendance).
If you cannot attend a W&W meeting or caucus, please make sure your voice is heard. You may submit proposal recommendations by email at commercials2025@sagaftra.org. Recommendations must be received by Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024.

Casting and Directing for the Screen course is seeking SAG-AFTRA actors to appear in two short, filmed scenes this semester. The course is under the direction of Professor Paul Chilsen in the Media Arts Department at MTSU.
Contract: Micro Budget Agreement. No pay. Copy and credit provided

Work Dates: Scenes or projects will shoot on a Monday or Wednesday in early/mid-November

Join the SAG-AFTRA Nashville Local for the conservatory workshop Behind the Scene: Getting the Part with casting director Kim Petrosky and talent agent Kim "Cookie" McCray.
Learn and brush up on essential skills and tools needed to get your shot in front of top casting directors and agents. This workshop will unlock the secrets to successfully getting you the roles you always wanted and the business of casting with guidance from two of Nashville’s best in the industry.
Kim and Cookie will cover:
Kim Petrosky, CSA is an accomplished casting director with over 25 years of experience in the industry. With a tremendous portfolio of working on over 50 theatrically released films, Petrosky has lent her expertise to a wide range of projects, including the upcoming Nicole Kidman film "Holland, MI" as well as notable titles such as “The Help,” Elizabethtown,” “The Legend of Bagger Vance,” “Wild Rose,” “The Green Mile,” and “Red Right Hand” including many others.
Kim "Cookie" McCray is an established casting agent with a diverse background in the entertainment industry. With over 15 years of experience in freelance film production, McCray has worked on high-profile projects such as “The Green Mile,” “Traffic,” “21 Grams,” “Elizabethtown,” “Country Strong,” and many others. Her credits include films, television shows, commercials, and music videos. The McCray Agency has represented actors in film, television commercials, music videos, industrials, and more. Many of her clients have gone on to secure roles in popular projects such as “Stranger Things,” “Homeland,” “Ozark,” “They Cloned Tyrone,” “The Resident,” and numerous others, including commercials, web spots, and industrials.
Petrosky and McCray's extensive experience and industry knowledge have significantly impacted Tennessee's TV/Theatrical industry and beyond.
