In this panel discussion, we will chat with leading casting professionals who will offer parents of minors, tweens and teens some helpful tips, tricks and best practices for submitting self-tape and live-video audition tapes to help break through the clutter and to get noticed.

AFTRA Retirement Fund Webinar

Whether you're receiving benefits now or will be at some point in the future, join us to hear how the Retirement Fund is safeguarding pension benefits for current vested participants and those who may vest in the future.

AFTRA Retirement Fund trustees, actuaries and staff will share information on how it works, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the positive outlook for the Fund.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session where you can ask your retirement-related questions.

Please join the President’s Task Force on Education, Outreach & Engagement for Understanding Residuals for SAG-AFTRA Performers, a presentation and discussion of how members earn TV/Theatrical and New Media residuals through their work on SAG-AFTRA contracts. This presentation will focus on television, theatrical and new media residuals; a presentation on commercials residuals will be scheduled for a later date.

This conversation may be a first for young performers, or a refresher for our more seasoned members. We’ll cover what residuals are, how compensation is paid to performers for use of a theatrical motion picture or television program beyond the use covered by initial compensation, when residuals are paid, how residuals are calculated, how to track them and much more.

Atlanta Local Conservatory: Unionizing Commercials - Strategies for Actors & Producers

Join the SAG-AFTRA Atlanta Local Muriel Moore/Danny Nelson Conservatory via Zoom for a powerful live panel discussion that demystifies the process of taking a commercial project from non-union to union. Learn the practical steps, gain insider insights, and understand the benefits for both performers and producers.

Our panel features Atlanta Local President Eric Goins, national and local staff, and other key voices from the union who’ve successfully navigated this journey. Moderated by SAG-AFTRA Conservatory Committee Chair Keri Maletto.

This is your opportunity to get informed, get empowered, and take action.

The Zoom link will be emailed to the confirmed registered guests the morning of the event. 

This event is capped at 100 members. There will be a wait list. If you must cancel, please do so prior to 24 hours of the event so another member may participate.
