We invite all performers who work the Interactive Media Agreement and all interested SAG-AFTRA members to attend this important member meeting to discuss the Interactive Media Agreement.

WHEN: Tuesday, February 6, 2024
6 - 8 PM PT/ 8 - 10 PM CT/ 9 - 11 PM ET

This meeting is via Zoom and in person at SAG-AFTRA headquarters in Los Angeles. Seating for the in-person meeting is limited, so we recommend you RSVP as soon as possible if you plan on attending in person.

The deadline to register for this event is Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 12 pm PT and we are not able to process and accommodate registrations beyond this time.

It's Awards season!!

SAG-AFTRA Michigan Local members (and a guest) are invited to join us in celebration of the amazing work of this union's members for the 30th Annual SAG Awards.

We will be gathering at the Emagine Royal Oak theater for this year's show. Light cocktail bites will be provided.

When:  Doors open 6 p.m. CST.  Heavy hor d'oeuvres 6-7 p.m. along with a cash bar. Awards begin at 7 p.m. CST

Cost: Free to members, guests $10/guest, 2 guest maximum. After you RSVP, you must select the payment option to pre-pay for guests. No money will be accepted at the door.

Join your fellow Hawaii Local Members, friends, family and guests for a live screening of the 2024 SAG Awards. Based on prior years’ feedback, your local planning committee and staff searched to find a venue to accommodate as many people as possible for a reasonable cost. We are fortunate to partner with the Honolulu Theatre for Youth to screen the awards live at the historic Tenney Theatre in downtown Honolulu. This year, for a small fee, we will have access to free (limited) parking by the theater and a bento for guests. The bento can be taken home or enjoyed in the covered area outside of the theater.  No food or drinks are allowed inside.

Join us for an in-person SAG Awards viewing party! Celebrate with your fellow members at the Atlanta Local viewing party of the 30th Annual SAG Awards on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The awards show, streaming on Netflix, begins at 8 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. A pre-show begins at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.

The party is free to members of the Atlanta Local in good standing plus one guest. Dessert will be served. Attire is casual.

Join us for the Arizona-Utah Local’s TV Co-Star Audition Intensive Conservatory with Emmy-nominated L.A. Casting Director Jamie Castro, CSA, (Inventing Anna, Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, Friday Night Lights).

Co-star roles present their own unique challenges and are the gateway to larger TV roles. With Arizona’s new tax incentive in place, local actors will be getting more auditions for these types of roles and we want our talent to shine and book them!  

The workshop will last two hours and is fully on Zoom. The class is in three parts: 

• Overview of co-star roles and tips and tricks for preparing for these auditions and roles.
• Prepared read with redirects and notes for those who register and provide a headshot and resume by 9 a.m., Feb. 5.
• Moderated Q&A.

This is a great class to strengthen your audition technique and practice in the remote live format - which is what many casting offices are currently using instead of in person.  All registrants are encouraged to join class from their self-tape set up.

Priority registration for Arizona-Utah Local members. Any remaining spots will open to other actors on Friday, February 2. There are no refunds. Upon registration you will be sent a link for payment. After payment is received you will be emailed instructions on where to send your headshot and resume along with the Zoom information.
