The Video Game Awards are this Thursday and we need your help! SAG-AFTRA will be leafleting the awards to spread awareness about why we are on strike against video game employers.
We will be meeting at 5 p.m. in the Free Speech Zone located at Chick Hearn Court and South Figueroa Street. We will be handing out buttons and fliers to Game Awards attendees and members of the general public!
Please consider carpooling and/or ridesharing with friends and colleagues. Public transportation is also available, with a number of bus lines having stops in the area including Metro A and E line stops between W. Pico and W. 12th.
We encourage everyone who attends to wear your SAG-AFTRA on Strike or a SAG-AFTRA Strong shirt! Don’t have a Video Game Strike t-shirt? You can pick one up at SAG-AFTRA Plaza, 5757 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 130 on Tuesday - Wednesday, Dec. 10-11, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
