Advanced Screenwriting

Discussions will include delving deeper into the screenwriting process with new materials each meet. It's recommended to take the Introduction to Screenwriting.

Acting on Camera

Only for the month of May, this class will meet at 12:15 p.m. - 2:15 p.m., instead of the usual 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. The class is expected to return to its usual 2:30 p.m. time slot in June.

Via mainstream acting theories and techniques, proven exercises and improvisation, students are exposed to the stylish and technical demands of camera performance. With emphasis on the ensemble and exposure, today’s audition obligations, to understanding how multi-media training relates to a 21st century actor, we will explore, challenge, and apply the vernacular, etiquette, discipline, and nuance of acting, and note how the process of storytelling applies to the actor.

Scene Study & Character Development Workshop

Join us for the Arizona-Utah Local Conservatory's Acting Workshop from All or Nothing (AON) Acting Studio.

SAG-AFTRA member Romeo Brown will be leading fellow members through his AON Conservatory Acting Workshop - an immersive, high-energy experience designed to push actors beyond their comfort zones while refining their instincts, presence, and storytelling abilities.

This workshop will focus on:
• Scene work & emotional depth – Actors will break down scenes using the 5W’s (Who, What, Where, When, and Why) to build authentic, dynamic performances.
• Improv & adaptability – Strengthening an actor’s ability to respond truthfully and spontaneously in the moment.
• Character exploration & ownership – Using HAIL (Honesty, Authenticity, Integrity, Love) to develop compelling character choices.

What to Bring:

👕 Comfy Clothes – You’ll want to move and feel relaxed.
🧘‍♂️ Positive Attitude – We keep the vibe uplifting and fun!

Join our Entertainment Contracts staff for Study Hall! This will be a time where our staff will give you a crash course on the structure of our TV/Theatrical Codified Basic Agreement (CBA), Television Agreement (TVA), Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) and our various Indie Agreements. Schedules as well as contract provisions will be addressed, with set aside time for members to ask their general questions.

The Regional Commercials Code is tailored specifically to meet the needs of local and regional advertisers so they may easily hire SAG-AFTRA members at competitive rates and with flexible terms. If you’ve previously worked under the Washington-Mid Atlantic Regional Commercials Code, or have interest in working this agreement, we encourage you to attend this meeting. It’s a great opportunity to make your voice heard and provide feedback as we review the current Regional Commercial Code provisions and consider any changes.
