SAG-AFTRA invites you to attend an online informational webinar to learn about the gains in the new 2025 Commercials Contracts. These sessions are designed to help you understand the terms of the tentative agreement before voting.

Four sessions are available — all covering the same material. RSVP required.

  • RSVPs are required and will close 3 hours before each webinar. You must be logged in to RSVP.
  • Members who register on time will receive a Zoom link via email prior to the session.

  • These webinars are open to active SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (dues paid through April 30 or October 31, 2025).

Video Game Strike Member Info Meeting

Where: SAG-AFTRA, James Cagney Board Room, 5757 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036 and online via Zoom

Parking will be validated. Please use the entrance to the parking garage on Curson between Wilshire Blvd. and 6th Street.

We invite all performers who work the Interactive Media Agreement to join us for a strike update meeting. Hear from the Interactive Media Agreement Negotiating Committee and lead negotiators about where we stand with the video game employers. The Committee would also like to hear directly from members who have worked under Video Game contracts, so please plan to attend.

Reservations are required. Please note that you must register before 2 p.m. PT, April 29, 2025 in order to receive your unique Zoom link.

Acting on Camera

Via mainstream acting theories and techniques, proven exercises and improvisation, students are exposed to the stylish and technical demands of camera performance. With emphasis on the ensemble and exposure, today’s audition obligations, to understanding how multi-media training relates to a 21st century actor, we will explore, challenge, and apply the vernacular, etiquette, discipline, and nuance of acting, and note how the process of storytelling applies to the actor.

Self-Producing 101: From Pre- to Post- & Everything In-between Part 5

Have you been daunted by self-producing or are you an old hat? Self-Producing 101 will delve
into everything pre-production, production, and post-production to give you a template for how
to be prepared at each level of your filmmaking. Featuring Q&As at the end of each session,
bring your notepads and questions and get ready to create your own work!

PART 5: DAVINCI RESOLVE EDITING -- DIVE INTO THE EDIT

  • A 1-hr Explainer + 1-hr Deep Dive Q&A into the DaVinci Resolve editing software. The basics of editing and recording voice-over, and various cool tricks.

Advanced Scene Study & Audition Technique

Through the lens of the self-tape audition, we'll focus on what you can do to bring your work to the next level. Please bring a TV/Film scene not more than 2 minutes in length (about 2 pages). Up to 8 participants will have the opportunity to work on a scene.

Scene Study & Character Development Workshop

Join us for the Arizona-Utah Local Conservatory's Acting Workshop from All or Nothing (AON) Acting Studio.

SAG-AFTRA member Romeo Brown will be leading fellow members through his AON Conservatory Acting Workshop - an immersive, high-energy experience designed to push actors beyond their comfort zones while refining their instincts, presence, and storytelling abilities.

This workshop will focus on:
• Scene work & emotional depth – Actors will break down scenes using the 5W’s (Who, What, Where, When, and Why) to build authentic, dynamic performances.
• Improv & adaptability – Strengthening an actor’s ability to respond truthfully and spontaneously in the moment.
• Character exploration & ownership – Using HAIL (Honesty, Authenticity, Integrity, Love) to develop compelling character choices.
