Where: Minnesota AFL-CIO Headquarters 175 Aurora Ave, St. Paul, MN

Who: SAG-AFTRA members and labor allies

SAG-AFTRA members and supporters will show their support for the TV/Theatrical/Streaming strike by gathering for an update and posing for a solidarity photo at the Minnesota AFL-CIO headquarters in St. Paul this Friday.

Attendees should park in the old Sears parking lot, across the street from the AFL-CIO offices.

Please wear your union gear if you have it! We will have signs and some SAG-AFTRA Strong shirts for members while supplies las, first-come-first-served.

Three TC Local Board members and others will be available to discuss why both of the strikes are important to the over 600 members of SAG-AFTRA and WGA in Minnesota and the Dakotas:

  • Peter Moore, SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local Board President
  • Randal Berger, SAG-AFTRA National Board Member
  • Mark Bradley, SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local Board 1st Vice President
  • Casey Lewis, SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local Board President Elect

SAG-AFTRA members will be able to sign up for the Local Strike Committee and volunteer for picket duty, should the need arise. We are also looking for volunteers to work at our kiosk at the AFL-CIO Labor Pavilion at the Minnesota State Fair (August 24- September 4).

Those who can't make the gathering and want to volunteer for the Strike Committee and/or State Fair duty should email twincities@sagaftra.org.
