Contract Seminar for Parents of Young Performers

This seminar will cover Minor Contract Provisions for the TV/Theatrical contract and Commercials contract. It is important for parents of SAG-AFTRA minors to understand their rights on set, for auditions and beyond. The meeting will be held via ZOOM.  Please get your questions ready!

This is the 1st of several upcoming meetings regarding Young Performers. If you are unable to attend this one, but want to be included in future events, please email Kathy.Byrne@sagaftra.org.

Let’s Talk: Mental Health Equity and the Labor Movement

Join them for a Zoom webinar from 4-5:15 p.m. CT on May 15 to discuss the importance of access to mental health care and resources union members can draw on to sustain the labor movement. Free Financial Education Workshop on Preparing for Financial Emergencies

The first seminar in the series will focus on .preparing for Financial Emergencies.  Discover pstrategies to build a simple budget and pay off debt.

2023 TV Animation Agreements Informational Webinar #1

The SAG-AFTRA Executive Committee and TV Animation Agreements Negotiating Committee recommend a “YES” vote  to ratify the important gains negotiated for the 2023 Television Animation Agreements. 

All eligible affected members were mailed a postcard on Friday, March 1, 2024, with instructions and a PIN number on how to vote online at vote.ivsballot.com/TVanimation or how to request a paper ballot. If necessary, you can retrieve your PIN number at the voting website by clicking “Find My PIN.”

SAG-AFTRA will hold two national TV Animation Agreements Informational Meetings on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

3-5 p.m. PT/ 5-7 p.m. CT/ 6-8 p.m. ET. Please RSVP below by 9 am PT on March 7, 2024. You must be a logged in to RSVP.

TV/Theatrical Contracts Informational Meeting Webinar

On Nov. 10, your SAG-AFTRA National Board overwhelmingly approved the TV/Theatrical Contracts tentative agreement reached with the AMPTP on Nov. 8, bringing an end to our 118 day strike. The contract improvements, valued at more than $1 billion in new wages and benefit plan funding, are a landmark achievement for the union. 

With the Board’s approval and recommendation of a “yes” vote, the deal now goes to the union’s membership for ratification. 

All members who are eligible to vote will be mailed a postcard on Tuesday, Nov. 14 with voting instructions.

Multiple online and in-person informational meetings are in the process of being scheduled to review the terms of the tentative agreement.

Monday, Nov. 13, 10 PT/12 CT/1 ET, an informational webinar will be held via Zoom. All SAG-AFTRA members are urged to attend this important meeting. Reservations are required in advance by the deadline of Monday, Nov. 13, 7 a.m. PT/10 am ET.

TV/Theatrical/Streaming Negotiations Interim Agreement Webinar

To accommodate the anticipated large turn-out, National Executive Director & Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland will make a brief presentation and then answer as many of your written questions as time allows.
