Rally with SEIU Healthcare Workers

The entertainment community and union communities have been so supportive of our efforts in the past few weeks and it is our turn to be supportive of their efforts!

SEIU Healthcare workers at Loretto Hospital on Chicago’s West Side are on strike for living wages and safer working conditions!  Let’s show our support and solidarity at their rally on Thursday.

Please join your SAG-AFTRA Seattle siblings in solidarity on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 4:00 PM for informational leafleting at Amazon’s Headquarters. SAG-AFTRA members, along with labor movement kin and allies, will be gathering together in support of our rights, our livelihoods and our futures! We want to make sure the public understands that the studios and streamers are refusing to negotiate a fair deal with our members, including the very people appearing in Amazon Prime Original series.

SAG-AFTRA will meet at Urban Triangle Park before walking the short distance to the Amazon Spheres. We will be leafleting Amazon Headquarters in three shifts. Please RSVP to one (1) shift. The morning shift is at 8:30 AM -10:00 AM and the lunch shift is from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM.

When you arrive, please sign in with designated SAG-AFTRA staff at Urban Triangle Park. We have a limited amount of SAG-AFTRA STRONG T-shirts for SAG-AFTRA members which will be handed out to members on a first come first serve basis. To receive a SAG-AFTRA STRONG t-shirt, please bring your SAG-AFTRA member ID card or digital card in the member app. If you already have some SAG-AFTRA gear to wear, please do! Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen and water bottle!

Join us for a social gathering in solidarity and get information and updates on the SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical/Streaming Strike. 

Question and answer period in the office 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

A small number of food trucks will be available for you to purchase food. The food trucks are located in the back right corner of the parking lot in front of building 14 that connects to our parking lot. Spend time eating, socializing and getting information outside at the food trucks. Light refreshments and information will also be available in the office. First two hours of parking are free. See a staff member for instructions on how to comp your parking if you stay longer. 

This is a social gathering and no signs or strike chants will be allowed. No media. Photos only. 

Wear your SAG-AFTRA t-shirts if you have one.  SAG-AFTRA Strong t-shirts (limited quantity) will be provided. T-shirts are only being distributed to SAG-AFTRA members at events/rallies while supplies last. 

This event is only open to SAG-AFTRA members.

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid thru Oct. 31, 2023, or in compliance with the May 2023 dues relief extension). No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.

The SAG-AFTRA Blood Drive is back!  We will be hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, September 11, 2023 from noon - 5:30 pm.  This is an amazing opportunity to save some lives, while hanging in the KRC with your fellow SAG-AFTRA members and friends.

Nevada Local members come show your support for the SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical/Streaming Strike!

Nevada Local members will assemble in support of the SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical/Streaming Strike in front of the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign at 5100 Las Vegas Blvd., S., Las Vegas, NV at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 27. We will take a quick photo together in solidarity! SAG-AFTRA t-shirts will be provided while supplies last.
