Naomi Jacobson, a professional actor working in the DC area for the last 25 years, is an Affiliated Artist with the Shakespeare Theatre and a Woolly Mammoth Theatre company member. Credits include The Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, Ford’s Theatre, Signature, Studio, Center Stage, The Goodman Theatre, The Guthrie, Cincinnati Playhouse, Milwaukee Rep and the Berkshire Theatre Festival. Her TV/film work includes Homicide, Her Father’s Eyes for A&E, and narration for PBS, NPR, Discovery Channel, Smithsonian and numerous commercials and industrials. Jacobon’s received three Helen Hayes Awards (15 nominations), a Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship, the Hopkins Anderson Award for Excellence in Theatre, and an Individual Artist Grant from the D.C. Arts Commission. She spearheaded the Actors Arena through Arena Stage, a continuing education program for professional actors.
