2025 Hawaii Local Annual Membership Meeting

On April 17, 2025, over 50 members and staff of the SAG-AFTRA Hawaii Local gathered for our annual membership meeting. Local President Andrea “Andy” Sikkink and Executive Director Mericia Palma Elmore presented reports to the members.  

As a special surprise, SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher shared a special message via video with the membership. Following the meeting, we celebrated and honored the strength of the merged union, commemorating 40 years since the 1985 formation of the Screen Actors Guild Hawaii Branch, and 56 years since the charter of the AFTRA Hawaii Local with cupcakes and a proclamation presented by Hawaii House of Representatives Cultural and Arts Committee Chair Jeanne Kapela.
