This seminar is designed to educate SAG-AFTRA members on the provisions of the SAG-AFTRA Low Budget Agreements, from Student Films to Low Budget Features. Participation in these lower budget films don't always involve ones agent, so you will learn how to negotiate for yourself, what you should know to get the best deal. If you work on low budget film projects and have not attended one of these seminars - this is a must. Dinner will be served.

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing — no guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome. SAG-AFTRA members, please bring your membership card or digital card from the app (paid through April 30, 2020 for admittance.
The SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local is proud to be making our presence known at the upcoming Catalyst Content Festival October 9th-13th in Duluth, MN.
We will have a daily presence at Catalyst in the atrium of the Zeitgeist Arts Cafe. SAG-AFTRA member-volunteers will mix and meet with the fest's content creators and fellow performers and showcase the depth and versatility of our Local’s talented SAG-AFTRA members.
In addition to the Twin Cities Local’s involvement, SAGindie will also be a sponsor of Catalyst. Staff from SAGindie will be on hand during the festival in their mission to promote the working relationship between professional actors and passionate filmmakers and guide them through the SAG-AFTRA signatory process.

As many of you know, our local was the first in the union to create a showcase for student filmmakers who use the SAG-AFTRA Student Film Agreement. This showcase has been an invaluable source of outreach to future filmmakers, teaching them how to work with union contracts at the start of their careers. That’s why we support efforts like this event hosted by MTSU that encourage industry professionals like you to get to know these talented young filmmakers.

Hosted by Jason Padgitt, Executive Director of the Nashville Film Festival, this one-hour screening features exemplary student work in the fields of filmmaking, live television production, animation, interactive media and photography. While not an official SAG-AFTRA Nashville event, our local president, Mike Montgomery, will be among the speakers and we’d love to see you there.

In this three-hour program, you will gain a plethora of valuable information jam-packed with helpful hints, facts and expertise to motivate and guide your journey. Learn how to USE the union as both an ally and resource to propel your career.
Attendance is required for the entire meeting to receive a Conservatory application outside of the open enrollment period. This meeting is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.
