SAG-AFTRA Chicago Conservatory Presents:
Tools To Get Unstuck: An interactive workshop exploring approaches to get out of your own way!
Uh-oh, you’re preparing or taping an audition and you get stuck. Don’t panic! Just come to our workshop to try out some fresh ways to reset, refocus and rediscover your material.
Participants will volunteer to perform a scene from TV/Film or commercial copy and test the impact that music, timing, and physical states have on our work. You’ll make adjustments in real time and see how it changes your creative process. Whether you choose to perform or observe in the audience, you’ll leave with simple tools to pull out whenever you’re feeling stuck and want to find a new way through.
If interested in working live during the presentation, please email Jess.Jones@sagaftra.org by November 8 to add your name to the list!
If you want to get curious about Mozart and MOS, be sure to register today!
