2022 NYC Labor Day Parade and March

Where: Assemble on East 44th Street between 5th Ave. and Vanderbilt in Manhattan. Look for the SAG-AFTRA banner

9:15 a.m. Line Up | 10 a.m. March Time

Join SAG-AFTRA New York President Ezra Knight, Vice President Linda Powell and your fellow SAG-AFTRA New York Local members at the annual New York City Labor Day Parade and March. The theme of the parade is “Workers Leading, Workers Rising.” No one shows the world how New York leads the way like our members do in front of cameras and behind microphones. March up Fifth Avenue with your union to show your pride as a #sagaftramember.
 
T-shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Light refreshments will be available.
  
RSVP: Reservations are closed. If you would like to join us, please bring your member ID and meet us at the assembly location on East 44th Street at 9:15 a.m.

If you would like to request an Americans with Disabilities Act Accommodation please specify the accommodation you are requesting. You will be contacted by a staff person to discuss your request.

All attendees of the NY Labor Day parade are encouraged to follow the most up-to-date COVID precautions per the New York City Department of Health, which can be found at the link below. This includes testing before attending the gathering, as tests will not be available upon arrival at the parade itself. Masks will be available. www1.nyc.gov

Please note that SAG-AFTRA will be taking photographs and videos at the event which might be used in our publications, social media, and to promote the union and its activities. You and any guests attending with you might appear in the photos and by attending with SAG-AFTRA's group you agree to these uses. Parents/guardians of younger performers under 18 years old are welcome. SAG-AFTRA members, please bring your membership card or digital card from the app (paid thru Oct. 31, 2022, or in compliance with the May 2022 Dues Relief Extension) for admittance.

Call to Action! Rally to support unions in New Hampshire! 

“Right-to-Work” legislation recently filed in New Hampshire, HB 238-FN, will be going to a vote on Thursday, February 13. We need all available SAG-AFTRA members to join us for a rally in Concord at the Capitol at 8 a.m. to send a message that so-called “Right to Work” is wrong for New Hampshire. Wear your SAG-AFTRA Strong shirts. Signs will be provided by NH AFL-CIO.

New Hampshire members can also take action now by contacting their representatives directly to demand that legislators stand up for hardworking families and reject this harmful legislation and oppose HB 238-FN
