The 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards took place on March 17, 2025, in Los Angeles, bringing together influential voices from across entertainment and media to honor storytelling that uplifts and accurately represents the LGBTQ+ community. Among those in attendance were SAG-AFTRA National LGBTQ+ Committee Co-Chair Jason Stuart and committee member Dalila Ali Rajah, proudly representing the union.
GLAAD — the leading LGBTQ+ media advocacy organization — works to amplify fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of LGBTQ+ people and issues across all forms of media. The annual awards ceremony not only recognizes outstanding achievements in LGBTQ+ storytelling, but also serves as a vital fundraiser supporting GLAAD’s advocacy, education, and outreach efforts.
SAG Awards®–nominated projects, including Agatha All Along, Baby Reindeer and Hacks were honored during the evening, further demonstrating the power of authentic stories to shift culture and spark meaningful change.
SAG-AFTRA’s presence at the event underscores the union’s ongoing commitment to championing diversity, equity and inclusion — on-screen, behind the scenes and in the industry at large.
