This hands-on, highly imaginative, strategic workshop is aimed at working actors, who are ready to usher in a brand new year with a brand new social media presence. Make 2017 the year you create the personal social media persona your goals deserve. Over the space of two hours, this learning event will help TV, film and stage actors at all stages of their respective careers, use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to professional present, and be perceived. Participants will get the tools and knowledge necessary to make social media worth their time, and crucially, their ambitions. From Facebook Live, to sub-tweeting on Twitter, to online networking to Instagram stories, from hashtags, to DMs, from time management to Facebook paid advertising, actors will learn the best practices to demonstrating their craft, talents and their passion in front of the right people. Prior to starting her business, Carlota worked in network news in Russia, NYC and Washington, DC, for the major networks. She interned for Senator Hillary Clinton, and clerked for Hon. Obus of the NY State Supreme Court. At the age of 18, the one-act play she wrote won the 1991 Young Playwrights Festival, and was professionally produced, off-Broadway, under the direction of Mark Brokaw. A native New Yorker, she is fluent in Russian and English.
