On May 12, SAG-AFTRA New York Local members gathered at the DGA Theater in Manhattan for their annual membership meeting.
SAG-AFTRA Vice President, New York & N.Y. Local President Ezra Knight and Chief Labor Policy Officer & New York Local Executive Director Rebecca Damon reported on the many activities and events of the last year, including the ongoing video game strike, commercials contract gains and national and local legislative wins.
Every year, the prestigious Joseph C. Riley Award is presented to a member for their outstanding contributions to their union through local committee service. This year’s recipient, Mia Christo, was recognized for her exceptional service on the New York Host Committee.
