Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) outline, in formal contract terms, everything SAG-AFTRA gained during a negotiation. As such, getting the wording right takes time as your negotiating committee and union staff need to ensure they are confident in the language that will ultimately become part of the contract. Because of this, it isn’t always possible to complete this work during the ratification period for every contract. However, we strive to do so whenever we can, and, as a result, we are very pleased to announce that the full text of the MOAs for the 2025 Commercials Contracts are now available.

The Commercials MOA can be viewed here.

Tomorrow is the final remaining informational meeting. Visit sagaftra.org/commercials2025 to register.

Among the reasons why SAG-AFTRA’s National Board overwhelmingly recommended a ‘Yes’ vote after reviewing the deal are:

  • $218.4 million in new earnings and benefit plan contributions over three years
  • One year streaming use now pays $10,000 – 33.33% more than the previous contract rate
  • Real wage growth, increasing compensation 5% in year one, 4% in year two, and 3% in year three
  • The most comprehensive A.I. protections of any contract, including the first restrictions on using performers’ work to train A.I. models.

Have additional questions? Check out our FAQs, webinar and summary in addition to the MOAs at sagaftra.org/commercials2025.

Eligible members were mailed a postcard with a PIN and voting instructions on April 30. If necessary, voters can retrieve their PIN at the voting website by clicking “Find My PIN.” Ballots must be received by 5 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

All active members of SAG-AFTRA in good standing whose November 2024 dues have been paid by March 31, 2025 are eligible to vote in the 2025 Commercials Contracts referendum.

Thank you for your continued engagement in the contract ratification process.
