Please join the President’s Task Force on Education, Outreach & Engagement for Understanding Residuals for SAG-AFTRA Performers, a presentation and discussion of how members earn TV/Theatrical and New Media residuals through their work on SAG-AFTRA contracts. This presentation will focus on television, theatrical and new media residuals; a presentation on commercials residuals will be scheduled for a later date.

This conversation may be a first for young performers, or a refresher for our more seasoned members. We’ll cover what residuals are, how compensation is paid to performers for use of a theatrical motion picture or television program beyond the use covered by initial compensation, when residuals are paid, how residuals are calculated, how to track them and much more.

Please submit questions or comments to sagaftra.org/PTEOEquestions. Unless otherwise requested, your name may be read aloud during the program if your question is selected. Due to time limitations, not all questions will be addressed during or after the program.

This PTEOE livestream will be live captioned. If additional ADA accommodations are requested, please indicate on the RSVP form.

This program will be recorded and may be later shared in whole or in part on SAG-AFTRA’s website, podcast and social media channels.
