Let’s gather and kick off the summer with fellow members at our Summer of SAG-AFTRA Atlanta Picnic! This will be a rain or shine event. When you arrive follow the signs to the Playground Pavilion! The first 25 members will be given a free SAG-AFTRA T-shirt!

What to bring: Please pack your own lunch and preferred beverages. Feel free to bring any fun outdoor games you'd like to share.

What we'll provide: Complimentary water and snacks. We'll also have summer music, games, and more!

Cost: Free for union members and their family or guests. Parking is also free.

Join your fellow SAG-AFTRA members at the New York Host Committee’s Softball Social. Come out and root for your fellow union members as they represent SAG-AFTRA in the Performing Arts Softball League. See actors run, broadcasters hit and stunt performers slide (safely).

This is an exciting time to be part of the Nashville Local! Come meet your fellow members, review some of the highlights of the past year, share your thoughts and contribute to the discussion about how we can be an even stronger and more effective union!

As 2025 is an election year for our union, you will be able to nominate a colleague or yourself for elected office and hear about other ways you can help chart the course of SAG-AFTRA Nashville*. As a reminder, members interested in running for local office may do so by accepting a nomination from the floor at our upcoming membership meeting, or by petition. Please review the Nashville Local notice of nomination and election for more information online at  www.sagaftra.org/elections.

Join us for our annual after-session event with the Hawaii Legislators.  This will be casual pau hana to give Hawaii Local members time to connect with our Hawaii lawmakers.  We will provide pizza from J Dolans, and attendees must buy their own drinks.

In celebration of Women's History Month, the Women in the Arts & Media Coalition will continue its yearly Women Arts Day — in collaboration with member organizations including SAG-AFTRA, NYWIFT, and WomenArts--at the School of Visual Arts.

LILLY is a dramatic feature film starring Patricia Clarkson, John Benjamin Hickey and Thomas Sadoski, about an Alabama tire factory worker who fights for justice after 20 years of being mistreated and cheated by the company. An emotional journey of heartbreak and euphoria, LILLY is the story of an ordinary woman who stands up to powerful corporate and political forces, underscoring the impact a single, courageous person can have on society.

Based on the remarkable life of Lilly Ledbetter, directed by Rachel Feldman, LILLY won BEST of the FEST at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival and was awarded the Anti Defamation League’s STAND UP AWARD at the 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. LILLY will be released theatrically this spring. 

There will be a talkback after the films with members of the creative team.

After the films and talkback, there will be food, drink, and networking. As every year, the event will be free, sponsored by the Coalition and the participating organizations.
