Atlanta Mayor Andrew Dickens is hosting Film Day 2025 celebrating Georgia's Film Industry.

Let’s come together to celebrate our industry and advocate for the future of film and media in our state. Your presence and energy will make a difference. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow SAG-AFTRA members, engage with the public, and show our collective strength alongside film partners and industry stakeholders.

SAG-AFTRA will have a table in City Hall to answer questions and share information about the Union.

Appetizers will be served in FUN Rooms 2 & 3 located off the main gaming floor. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase. Game card purchases of $10 and up will receive unlimited, free non-ticketed video game play for the evening.

 

Raffle tickets will be sold for $5/each or 5 tickets for $20. The raffle will benefit the Women In Film Dallas Scholastic Grant Fund. Raffle prizes will include local film festival passes.

The SAG-AFTRA Softball Team invites members who play softball to try out for the Performing Arts Softball League. Games are held Mondays through the spring and into the summer around noon on Heckscher Ballfields in Central Park (just south of the Sheep Meadow).

All players over 18 years of age are welcome. Basic softball skills and experience are required, but professional ball players are prohibited per league rules. There is no fee to join. You must bring your own glove.

No need to RSVP, just show up at the tryout time with your current paid-up SAG-AFTRA membership card or digital card in the member app (paid thru April 30, 2025).
