Grab your favorite beverage and cozy up to your computer or mobile device for this informal gathering via Zoom. You can join anytime during the hour-long connection to mingle with fellow members, discuss issues important to you, share ideas about future local activities and have some fun. We’ll have a SAG Awards-themed game with SAG-AFTRA swag as a prize. The first five members to RSVP and attend will get a SAG-AFTRA tumbler. Please join the Washington-Mid Atlantic Local as we host a virtual social hour prior to the 29th SAG Awards, live on Netflix's YouTube Channel!

Members will have an opportunity to take part in games, trivia, red carpet gossip, and other fun activities prior to the start of the SAG Awards. Join and compete for SAG-AFTRA swag and prizes!

More information will be sent to you closer to the party about how to participate in all the fun.

Masks are required at the SVA Theatre. Proof of vaccination and at least one booster is required for this event. Verification will be through the use of the CLEAR Health Pass. This is a free app available for you to download on your smartphone. You may recognize CLEAR as its services are used by travelers in most major U.S. airports; and the free CLEAR Health Pass is used to validate vaccination for entry to stadiums and venues across the country. 
Here are the easy steps to get set up with CLEAR’s Health Pass:

1. Download the free CLEAR app and tap the white Health Pass tile.
2. Select ‘Have a code?’ and enter SAGVIEWINGPARTY
3. Easily enroll with your government issued ID or if you are already a CLEAR member, verify your identity with a quick selfie.
4. Follow the prompts to provide proof of vaccination. Please allow 24 hours for CLEAR to validate your information.
5. Upon arrival, reopen the CLEAR Health Pass and show your pass at check-in. Green is good to go!

The SAG-AFTRA New England Local will be conducting Wages & Working Conditions (“W&W”) meetings in preparation for the 2023 Producer–SAG-AFTRA Codified Basic Agreement and the SAG-AFTRA Television Agreement (collectively, the “TV/Theatrical Contracts”) Negotiations. The TV/Theatrical Contracts expire June 30, 2023. This is your opportunity to recommend proposed changes to these contracts. 

Proposals for this negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard and participate in this very important process. Meetings are open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA New England Local members*. Check the website and watch your emails for additional meetings.

WHO CAN ATTEND
*W&W meetings are only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA New York Local members in good standing. For all meetings on or before December 12, 2022 “good standing” shall mean paid thru Oct. 31, 2022 or April 30, 2023, or in compliance with the November 2022 Dues Relief Extension. After December 12, 2022 “good standing” shall mean paid through April 30, 2023, or in compliance with the November 2022 Dues Relief Extension. No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.
 
CAN’T ATTEND A MEETING?
If you cannot attend a W&W meeting or caucus, please make sure your voice is heard. You may submit proposal recommendations by email at tvtheatrical2023@sagaftra.org. Recommendations must be received by Friday, Jan. 27, 2023.
 
REQUIRED CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
In order to participate in the wages and working conditions process, you must electronically complete the Confidentiality Agreement sent to you automatically upon your RSVP. You will only need to complete this form once for the entire W&W process.
