San Diego Local Monthly Mixer

Join the San Diego Local for a casual monthly mixer. Everyone is welcome. Show up and mingle with other local members and friends at the Studio Diner on the third Tuesday of the month (except holidays).  Check the SAG-AFTRA website for any updates.

NextGen Performers Kick-Off Gathering!

Do not miss this opportunity to meet up with other SAG-AFTRA 18+ Gen Z, Millennial, & Gen X members.

Join us for our NextGen New York 2023 kick-off gathering to help SAG-AFTRA look ahead to the future. (Re)introduce yourself to our New York space and each other. Come take  a tour of the SAG-AFTRA New York office, and stay for a mixer. 

Please note, masks are recommended and all members and guests who attend a meeting or event at a SAG-AFTRA office will need to confirm that they have been vaccinated and have received at least one booster through the use of the CLEAR Health Pass. This is a free app available for you to download on your smartphone. You may recognize CLEAR as its services are used by travelers in most major U.S. airports; and the free CLEAR Health Pass is used to validate vaccination for entry to stadiums and venues across the country.

Here are the easy steps to get set up with CLEAR’s Health Pass:

  • Download the free CLEAR app to your mobile device and tap the white Health Pass tile.
  • Select ‘Have a code?’ and enter SAGAFTRAOFFICE.
  • Easily enroll with your government issued ID or if you are already a CLEAR member, verify your identity with a quick selfie.
  • Follow the prompts to provide proof of vaccination. Please allow 24 hours for CLEAR to validate your information.

Upon arrival at a SAG-AFTRA office, reopen the CLEAR Health Pass and show your pass at check-in. Green is good to go!

The MOVE New York NextGen Performers (NGP) Subcommittee consists of SAG-AFTRA members who encourage young adult professional members to take control of their careers, get involved and get active through social media, social networking, meet-ups, tweet-ups, community outreach, special events and much more.

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. Please bring your SAG-AFTRA member ID card or digital card in the member app (paid thru April 30, 2023, or Oct. 31, 2023 or in compliance with the May 2023 COVID-19 Dues Relief Extension program) for admittance.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation VO Meet-Up Group

Looking for an opportunity to network and get to know other members?  Then this Zoom session is for you! Join the SAG-AFTRA Foundation for their first ever voiceover lab Zoom meet-up group. After a brief introduction participants will have the opportunity to bounce between topic-specific breakout rooms to talk shop, make contacts and build community. Breakout room topics for this session will include: All Things Audiobook, Getting Representation, Home Studio Stuff, Marketing Yourself, My Background is in Theater, Making a Demo, I Need A Recommendation/ I Got A Recommendation and  Happy Hour. EIF staff will be on hand to monitor flow of traffic and answer questions but discussions will be casual and peer led. Don’t miss this opportunity for community, contacts and conversation!
