Member Mixer

The SAG-AFTRA Hawaiʻi Local Background Committee, along with the Hawaiʻi Local Conservatory Committee, invites performers interested in learning more about Background work to join us for a day of information and networking sessions at the Entrepreneurs SandBox. The first part of the day is for members in good standing only, and the second part of the day will be open to pre-members. Here is the schedule for the portion open to all performers: 

12:40 - 1:40 p.m.: How to Find and Book Background Job

1:45 - 2:45 p.m.: Background Actors  Etiquette on Set: do’s & don'ts, tips, and tricks of the trade

Please join us as we celebrate the holiday season and acknowledge all of the efforts and hard work of our strike captains and members who took action during this strike. There will be a holiday surprise for the first 200 members in attendance. Executive Vice President Linda Powell, New York Local President Ezra Knight, and the New York Local Board and staff look forward to the opportunity to celebrate with you.

Due to Holiday Open House preparations, members attending this event should plan to arrive at 1900 Broadway’s lobby after 1:55 p.m. Your understanding is appreciated.​

Admittance is on a first come, first served basis. No reservations necessary. This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid thru Oct. 31, 2023 or April 30, 2024 or in compliance with the November 2023 dues extension program).
