This is an exciting time to be part of the Nashville Local! 

Come meet your fellow members, review some of the highlights of the past year, share your thoughts and contribute to the discussion about how we can be an even stronger and more effective union!

Join fellow New York Local members for our annual membership meeting! You’ll have an opportunity to learn and ask questions. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

After the meeting, please stay for cake as we honor the strength of the merged union and celebrate 40 years since the 1985 formation of the Screen Actors Guild, Hawaii Branch, and 56 years since the charter of the AFTRA Hawaii Local.

It’s easy to miss this right turn so look for a sign that says HOMER A. MAXEY! Drive past the sign and follow the road until it ends. Park and enter the glass doors. We’re upstairs.

San Diego Local Membership Meeting and Dinner

Please join your fellow SAG-AFTRA San Diego Local members for the San Diego Local Membership Meeting and Dinner.

Members will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions of elected representatives and staff. The event will start with the membership meeting, followed by dinner. A cash bar will be open to members.

The SAG-AFTRA San Diego and San Francisco-Northern California Locals will be conducting Wages & Working Conditions (W&W) meetings in preparation for the negotiation of the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract and the SAG-AFTRA Audio Commercials Contract (collectively, the “Commercials Contracts”) which expire on March 31, 2025.

Proposals for this negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard and participate in this very important process. Meetings are open to all paid-up SAG-AFTRA members*

RSVP: Meetings will be by Zoom. RSVP below (you must be logged in to RSVP). You will receive a reply from commercials2025@sagaftra.org with a link to electronically sign the required confidentiality agreement. 

The Zoom link will be included with your registration reply. You  must have a Zoom account that identifies you by name to participate.

If you cannot attend a W&W meeting or caucus, please make sure your voice is heard. You may submit proposal recommendations by email at commercials2025@sagaftra.org. Recommendations must be received by Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Whether you are a new member or new to the New England local, this member orientation is for you. Hear from local leaders and staff about your union. This conversation will offer information on performer rights and protections, key elements of regional and national contracts, membership benefits, union governance, and resources available to members of SAG-AFTRA. Learn something new and get answers to questions!

This meeting will be held via Zoom.

We hope to see faces from all over the region!

On July 25, 2024, SAG-AFTRA’s Interactive Media Agreement Negotiating Committee, acting under joint authority with the National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland as delegated by the National Board, voted unanimously to issue a strike of the Interactive Media Agreement, effective July 26 at 12:01 a.m.
