Virtual Studio Jams are a way to plug in with other union members, get practice in the medium, work on industry-relevant material, and share feedback as you flex your muscles in a low-pressure setting - your own house!
Our On Cam Jam is a perfect place to get up on your camera to work on sides, scenes, or the kind of copy that interests you! This is a great time to ask self-tape questions and discuss technology with other members.
Our VO Jam affords voice actors a time and place to work on copy, listen to feedback, ask all your tough tech questions, and make tweaks and revisions to get in tip top shape for the next voice gig!

Netflix and SAG-AFTRA are partnering on a series of in-person workshops aimed at helping to build a pipeline of diverse talent with live-action dubbing experience. The Los Angeles-based workshops will be held in a local recording studio and participants will be given hands-on instruction recording scenes with experienced dubbing creative leads.
Enrollment is free and available slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited to 15 participants and five (5) waitlist spots. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Register below. You must be logged in to see the registration form.
SAG-AFTRA will collect registration data for the workshop(s), however the program is administered, funded, and managed by Netflix.
Ideal participants are professional performers with some voiceover experience, but limited to no prior dubbing experience, who are interested in learning more about live-action dubbing and pursuing work opportunities in this area.
ADA accommodations will be provided upon request but must be solicited via email to Netflix no less than 72 hours prior to the workshop(s).
All travel and expenses are the sole responsibility of workshop participants.
This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid thru April 30, 2023).
NOTE: Your name, email and phone number will be collected by SAG-AFTRA and provided to Netflix for the purpose of coordinating with workshop participants. By providing this information, you are granting SAG-AFTRA permission to share it with the workshop coordinator at Netflix. Your information will only be shared if you secure a spot in the workshop or are wait-listed. Your SAG-AFTRA ID will not be shared with Netflix.
Netflix has requested permission to retain workshop participant contact information for potential follow-up after the workshop. Permission is granted at the sole discretion of workshop participants and is not required to participate. Please note that this list is managed by Netflix and SAG-AFTRA does not have the ability to make changes once you grant permission.
COVID-19 Protocols
Please note that these protocols are subject to change based on a variety of factors, including community transmission, local and state requirements. Participants will be expected to adhere to all onsite COVID protocols at the dubbing facility. Please note that Roundabout Entertainment is a SAG-AFTRA approved dubbing facility for COVID compliance. Testing: Pre-workshop COVID testing is NOT required. If a participant chooses to self-test and tests positive, the participant should stay home and reschedule for a later session. Masking: Masks will be available onsite and are recommended inside the facility, except for individuals who are recording alone inside the booth. Participants are encouraged to wash their hands, use hand sanitizer, and socially distance whenever possible. If feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms of illness, please stay home and reschedule for a later date.
