Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking performers able to portray the following on episode 208 of the HBO series The Deuce:
- 1970s fully nude male dancers: Seeking people with actual dance experience. Tentatively work date is Monday, July 23; tentative fitting date is Friday, July 20. Talent must be comfortable appearing fully nude on camera. No tattoos allowed; seeking natural 1970s body types only (slim/lean, not too chiseled or muscular, with pubic hair). Rate: $1200/8hrs.
- 1970s older gay male dance show patron with dancer. This character will be seen giving money to and going backstage with a nude male dancer. Tentatively work date is Monday, July 23; tentative fitting date is Friday, July 20.
- 1970s gay male dance show patron touching principal. This character (fully clothed) will be seen simulating the touching of a prosthetic penis on a principal actor. Tentatively work date is Monday, July 23; tentative fitting date is Friday, July 20. Rate: SAG-AFTRA Background rate + $50 simulation bump.
- Male and female 1970s porn film crew members (grip, camera operator, wardrobe, props, etc.). Tentatively work date is Friday July, 27; tentative fitting date is TBD but prior to work date.
- 1970s topless female porn actresses. Tentatively work date is Friday, July 27; tentative fitting date is TBD but prior to work date. Must be comfortable appearing topless on camera, possibly also in lingerie bottoms. No tattoos allowed. Rate: $600/8hrs.
- 1970s fully nude porn actor. Tentatively work date is Friday, July 27; tentative fitting date, if needed, is TBD. Must be comfortable appearing fully nude on camera. NO tattoos allowed. Rate: $1200/8hrs.
Please do not submit if you have already worked this season.
Everyone must be 18 years or older to work. Please note the series is set in 1970s New York City. Those portraying men should have some length to their hair. No very modern haircuts, buzz cuts, fades, temple tapers, etc. Those portraying women should have hair appropriate for 1977 (can be shoulder length), no braids, dreadlocks, modern cuts, etc. No ombré or overly done highlights. No visible tattoos and should be okay working around atmospheric smoke.
