Dear SAG-AFTRA Nevada Local,
Now is the time to show our support for the COMBINING AND PASSAGE OF BOTH FILM BILLS, AB238 & SB220, and put pressure on our State Legislators to do just that!
We need everyone to call AND email all our State Assembly Legislators, Senators and the Governor. Also, I strongly urge that you forward this email to everyone you know!
These film bills, if passed, will not only affect everyone in the SAG-AFTRA Nevada Local, but all of the auxiliary small businesses that serve the industry. When you call and email, please focus on the thousands of jobs that will be created for our local members and NV Residents.
The combining and passage of these bills will create more jobs for all of Nevada. Tell them your story as a performer and worker, and the positive impact the passage of these bills will have on you and your family.
Another way to show our support for AB238 and SB220 is to take part in the bill’s “Opinion Poll.” Here’s how you can help:
- Click on one of the bill overview links below.
- In the upper right click the “Opinion Button.”
- Click “Select Position,” click one, preferably “Support.”
- Fill out the boxes and comments are always welcomed.
- Hit “Submit.”
- Repeat with the second link.
