SF-NC TV/Theatrical Background Zone Presentation

This meeting will provide a deep dive into Schedule X-I of the TV/Theatrical contract, which covers background performers working in film and television productions shooting in San Francisco and Sacramento.

Unpacking “Boxed”- A Conversation About Independent Low Budget Film in Florida

The Miami Local is proud to present an educational panel on the life cycle of a short film created under SAG-AFTRA’s short project agreement. This ev will unpack the project from idea to screen and everything in-between with an emphasis on how SAG-AFTRA interacted with the cast and crew during the pandemic.  The presentation will culminate in a screening of the 13-minute short film Boxed.

Miami Regional Commercials Code Review and Recommendations

Join us for the SAG-AFTRA Miami Regional Commercials Code Review and Recommendations meeting. 

Now that the 2022 Commercials Contracts have been ratified, it’s time to focus on our Local’s 2022 Regional Commercials Code. This agreement is tailored specifically to meet the needs of our regional advertisers so they may easily hire local SAG-AFTRA performers.

If you’ve worked under a Miami Regional Commercials Code during the past five years, we encourage you to attend this meeting. It’s a great opportunity to make your voice heard and provide feedback as we review the current Regional Code provisions.

WHEN: May 31, 2022 at 3-4 pm ET.

WHERE: Meeting will be held by Zoom. You must have a registered Zoom account that identifies you by name to participate.

SAG-AFTRA 101

Join the Washington-Mid Atlantic Local for the popular “SAG-AFTRA 101” workshop. This conversation will provide attendees with information on performer’s rights and protections, present an overview of some of the key elements of the Commercials, Corporate/Educational and Non-Broadcast, Television, and Theatrical Agreements, discuss the benefits of membership, and share the resources available to members of SAG-AFTRA. Additionally, we will be joined by Washington-Mid Atlantic Local President Kathryn Klvana. This presentation is perfect for new and veteran members alike. 

At the end of the presentation, there will also be an opportunity to address questions. If there is a question you would like addressed, you may submit it in advance to Colin Bouchard at colin.bouchard@sagaftra.org.
