Mar. 06, 2020 - 11 AM to Noon MT

Where:
Colorado State Capitol Building - West Steps (facing Lincoln) 200 E. Colfax Avenue Denver, CO

Soon, a new bill will be introduced to the state legislature to create transferable tax credits for film and television. This will be a tremendous boost to Colorado’s entertainment industry.  It will allow us to get back to growing existing industry related businesses, open new ones and building infrastructure; all of which will provide career opportunities for Coloradans.

In addition to increasing opportunities for SAG-AFTRA members, this type of production positively impacts hotels, restaurants, caterers, equipment rentals and many other support services. And, it adds visibility to our state's image, helping tourism as well.

The purpose of the event is to put a Colorado face on the industry and to communicate – with a single, unified, clear message – how important this industry is to the state.

Please take an hour and join your fellow SAG-AFTRA members, industry professionals, bill sponsors and other state legislators at the Capitol.

Show your union pride by wearing T-shirts, hats, pins or whatever – If you’ve got it, flaunt it.

When: 11 a.m. – Noon, Friday, March 6

Where: Colorado State Capitol Building - West Steps (facing Lincoln)
200 E. Colfax Avenue
Denver, CO
