Academy Award- and Emmy-nominated producer, David Permut in conversation with Emming-winning host, actor and producer Carly Steel on his career and what it really takes to make it in the modern entertainment industry.
DAVID A. PERMUT is a multiple Academy Award- and Emmy-nominated producer whose career spans four decades and over 40 films: Hacksaw Ridge, Give Em Hell Harry, Richard Pryor: Live in Concert, Dragnet, Blind Date, Face/Off, The Marrying Man, Capitan Ron, Consenting Adults, Dysfunctional Family Punching the Clown and The Polka King to name a few. His upcoming film Chippendales is the true story of the first all-woman’s nightclub.
CARLY STEEL is a two-time Emmy winning host, actress and producer who is presently a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.
