The location for this production is Pittsburgh, PA.  The producer of this student film has requested that we send this casting notice to the members in your Local. Seeking principal actors able to portray:

Antonio “Kelly” Kelly: (late 30, 40s; African American) Kelly is an aging pretty boy with a hint of rough-around-the-edges in his demeanor. Once a bit of a legend on the streets and on the football field, he’s now a father of two girls. He prides himself on being their protector and nurturer, and he’ll stop at nothing to keep them safe and happy.

Pick Kelly: (10-12; African American) – Pick is a transgender girl. She was born as Antonio, Jr., but she has always known deep down that she was a girl. Pick is lean and androgynous. She has not yet hit puberty, but she is terrified that it will make her life much harder when it comes. We are open to auditioning all genders for this role.
