The Conservatory is designed to expand the craft and business knowledge of the professional performer through participation in Classes, Audio/Video Workshops, Friday Groups, and Special Events. NY Conservatory classes take place at the SAG-AFTRA New York Conservatory Studio located at 1900 Broadway, 5th floor.

Although run under the auspices of SAG-AFTRA, SAG-AFTRA membership dues are not used to pay for Conservatory activity, although we gratefully acknowledge the use of the space provided by the union. Fellow actors (just like you) volunteer their time to run this fine program. Your nominal Conservatory membership fee goes to pay for such things as studio equipment, printing and mailing expenses.
