Professional actors have unique needs when it comes to managing their finances and business expenses, especially young performers. This day-long workshop will focus on the many ways young performers can save money and give them a better understanding of the many business expenses incurred by professional performers. This event will include mini-workshops covering on-camera technique, headshots, self-taping and savings and investments.
Parents will follow their own track of programming including a young performer finance panel and a tax return seminar.
Breakfast and lunch will be served.
RSVP: Reservations are required and space is limited. Click here to RSVP. Due to space limitations we can only accommodate one parent or guardian per young performer.
This program is made possible by a grant from the Screen Actors Guild – Producers Industry Advancement and Cooperative Fund.
This meeting is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. Unfortunately, no guests allowed. Parents/guardians of younger performers under 18 years old are welcome. PLEASE BRING YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD OR DIGITAL CARD IN THE MEMBER APP (paid through April 30, 2018) FOR ADMITTANCE.
