I'm so sorry to learn of Ken Howard's passing. I remember his amazing performance as Thomas Jefferson in 1776 on Broadway in the early 70's. What a talented actor and fine SAG and SAG-AFTRA president.
-Judi Rolin

As an actor, I am grateful for Ken’s hard work in bringing the two unions together. That speaks volumes to the kind of man he was. Blessings to you, Ken, and thank you for your heartful work.

I'm just a schmuck wannabe has-been union actor, but when Ken came here to Boston, after he made his presentation he was just sitting on the corner of a table. For some reason, no one went up to him. I'm no great conversationalist, especially with someone I don't know, but I went up to him and he kindly engaged me in a friendly chat about a wide range of topics – not entirely connected to the union or the biz – for about ten minutes. Just a totally normal, down to earth, humble and friendly guy. I left that meeting feeling a strongly enhanced respect and admiration for him. His loss is premature and profoundly tragic. My heart goes out to his loved ones. May you rest in peace Mr. Howard.
