SAG-AFTRA is supporting 2020Census to complete an accurate Census count to complete the 2020Census mission. As such, we invite all of our Union members, family and friends to apply for a 2020Census position, and to complete each of your home addresses’ 2020Census forms on-line at 2020Census.gov as soon as possible if you have not done so already. You can directly apply for the positions listed below at 2020Census.gov/jobs from your mobile device or home computer. The 2020Census job description(s) are provided below:
2020 CENSUS ENUMERATOR (EN), CENSUS FIELD SUPERVISOR (CFS), AND OFFICE OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (OOS) JOB INFORMATION
EN Duties: Visit households that have not completed the Census 2020 survey and have respondents complete it. Enumerators are encouraged to work in the neighborhoods they live in, but can be asked to enumerate elsewhere.
CFS Duties: Supervise enumerator field co-workers.
OOS Duties: Supervise census field supervisors.
Pay: EN - $29.50/hour, OOS - $31.50/hour and CFS - $32.50/hour.
Hours: 10 - 40 hours per week.
Schedule: Enumerators may make their own schedule a week in advance between the hours of 9am - 9pm 7 days a week.
Field Work Period: August 12th - October 31st
Incentives: Enumerators, Census Field Supervisors and Office Operations Supervisors receive an "SF-50" - Notification of Personal Action - form upon completion of their employment. This document proves a person's employment with the federal government, including their pay and duties. If MAC tenants, family and friends aspire to future employment in the federal government, the "SF-50" is a very powerful leg-up for future employment.
