2014 ProACT Workshop Registration

The ProACT Conservatory is a group of committed SAG-AFTRA members living and working in Texas. The Conservatory mission is to provide educational workshops, professional training and industry networking opportunities that communicate the importance of SAG-AFTRA membership and establish SAG-AFTRA’s role as leaders in the region. We are committed to encouraging professional talent and increasing SAG-AFTRA media production.

The SAG-AFTRA Austin Conservatory is dedicated to providing unique and relevant education workshops, seminars, reading and creative opportunities to Houston members. Our mission is to provide professional training and industry networking that can raise the level of professional talent in Austin.

The SAG-AFTRA Houston Conservatory is dedicated to providing unique and relevant education workshops, seminars, reading and creative opportunities to Houston members. Our mission is to provide professional training and industry networking that can raise the level of professional talent in Houston.


Houston Conservatory membership is available to SAG-AFTRA members only. The $35 enrollment fee is for one year and runs January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014.

SAG-AFTRA Mourns the Loss of Paul Walker

SAG-AFTRA joins the entertainment community in mourning the sudden loss of Paul Walker. A generous talent both on set and off, Walker will be missed by his fellow union members and millions of fans worldwide. Justin Timberlake and SAG-AFTRA Reach Agreement on 20/20 Experience World Tour Dancers

Justin Timberlake and SAG-AFTRA have reached an agreement for the dancers on his 20/20 Experience World Tour to be covered by the SAG-AFTRA Touring Agreement.

Under the agreement, performer earnings count toward pension and health benefits eligibility. The deal also provides touring companies with improved budget flexibility through direct negotiations with performers.

SAG-AFTRA President Ken Howard applauded Timberlake and the SAG-AFTRA dancers who worked to unionize the 20/20 Experience tour.
