The SAG Foundation is now accepting submissions for its September 2012 Shorts Showcase – a program that is about to launch year four!

The deadline for submissions is Friday, August 24. All entries received after that date will be placed in contention for our January 2013 event.

There is no entry fee, nor is there a cost to attend the screening, which is held in New York City.

All shorts MUST be produced under a SAG union contract, and not run more than 15 minutes – no exceptions.

Attend an informational meeting on Wednesday August 29 at 1 p.m. to learn and discuss provisions of the new SAG-AFTRA Music Video Agreement. This new agreement is the result of years of efforts and negotiations between the former AFTRA, and the major record labels. All music video productions for the major labels and their subsidiary labels are now covered by this new SAG-AFTRA agreement (UMG, Sony, Warner, EMI, Disney), in addition to hundreds of other independent labels (such as Curb, Big Machine, etc.).
