SAG and the SAG Foundation present another great LifeRaft Live Stream event on Tuesday, March 2, 6 -8 p.m. (PT). This panel will examine the art of the independent film deal and will be followed by a live Q&A session. No matter where you live in the country, you'll be able to participate as this event is streamed online, and don't forget, it's FREE.

This session will help you empower yourself as a filmmaker with essential knowledge from independent film and entertainment law experts that includes financing, percentage participation, insurance, completion bond requirements and securing distribution deals. Protect the art of the craft by addressing the art of the deal!

This week, a portion of the event is pre-recorded, featuring moderator Paul Bales (Partner, The Asylum) along with panelists Eric Weissmann (Sr. Partner, WWBCGE LLP), Howard F. Hart (Partner, WWBCGE LLP) and William J. Immerman (Sr. EVP & COO, Yari Film Group).

A live Q&A session will follow, featuring Eric Weissman, who represented the film Borat, William J. Immerman and moderated by LifeRaft Program Director Simon Abou-Fadel.
