Tribute to Include Singin’ in the Rain (1952) and The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964) in honor of Reynolds' 2015 Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will celebrate the life and career of iconic actress Debbie Reynolds with a five-film tribute on Thursday, Jan. 22, in honor of Reynolds receiving the 51st SAG Life Achievement Award. Reynolds daughter, actor/novelist/screenwriter/performance artist Carrie Fisher will present the honor to Reynolds at the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, which will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT).
Given annually to an actor who fosters the “finest ideals of the acting profession,” the union’s highest accolade will be presented to the Oscar®, Emmy® and Tony®-nominated Reynolds, who is celebrating her 66th year in show business.
