The Twin Cities Local is an official sponsor of this year’s Twin Cities Film Fest (TCFF), and local members can enjoy special opportunities to meet and mingle with Film Festgoers. From Oct. 18-28, the 8th Annual TCFF will present more than 120 films and educational events, including panel discussions with industry professionals, filmmakers and special guests. Films will spotlight Minnesota natives, women directors, social causes and “Hollywood sneak peaks.” The TCFF venue is the Showplace ICON Theatre at the Shops at the West End.

On July 15, 2017, your SAG-AFTRA National Board overwhelmingly approved and recommended a YES vote for the TV/Theatrical tentative agreement reached with the AMPTP. Eligible SAG-AFTRA members will receive a postcard in the coming days on how to vote electronically or by paper ballot on the proposed successor agreements covering motion pictures, scripted primetime dramatic television and new media production.
