Tom Todoroff, producer, director, actor and acting coach, comes to Boston to lead his two-day acting intensive. The intensive will focus on scene-study, monologue-study and audition technique. Performers will work on prepared pieces and receive personalized coaching.

Learn about Lee Strasberg's legendary acting technique which teaches through sense exercises and relaxation how to access emotional memories. In method acting, actors learn to express powerful emotions and are encouraged to leave behind conventional, superficial, and clichéd expressions in search of their own unique artistic voices. The method trains actors to use their physical, mental, and emotional humanity in creation of characters, and stresses in the ways in which personal experience can fire the actor's imagination.

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation is hosting a FREE event in New England! In this new form of Casting Access Online, actors will get a unique opportunity to perform and video chat with the specified with Kimberly Graham, Associate Casting Director at Judy Henderson Casting.

Prior to the actual event, actors will prepare their own scene for the class. Then, at the venue they will participate in a Q&A and reading with the CD. Actors will perform one by one via video chat, then receive feedback on their performances. Readers will be selected from the class.
